The moonbats sink further

Some idiot at Google has set the search engine so that when you type "failure" and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button, you get sent to the biography of President Bush. Just sick. I didn't vote for him, but he deserves respect. I've been using dogpile rather than Google for just this reason. UPDATE: Seth (in comments) tells me this is something called googlebombing and not a result of google actually doing something malicious.

Don't blame Google for this; they didn't program that in. The "I'm feeling lucky" button takes you directly to the top page in Google's search results for whatever term your searching on, and Google ranks page searches, in part, but the text of the links to sites. This means that a relatively small number of people on the 'net can "game" Google's search results. It's a phenomenon called Googlebombing; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Googlebombing for more details.
