WEIRD People

I'm reading a book called "The WEIRDest People in the World". WEIRD means Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, and Democratic.

The first big Idea I've recognized is that "Policy prescriptions and formal institutions need to fit the cultural psychology of the population in question."
