Old Man's War

If you haven't read Old Man's War by John Scalzi, go get it now. Great science fiction. I bought a copy a week ago and have read it 3 or 4 times.

1. Which nation has values that are better than all the rest? Why? 2. When a power vacuum occurs overseas, which of the nations capable of filling that vacuum should fill it? Why?
